FESTIVAL "TOWER OF SAVIOR”

International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower”, uniting bands from all over the world, year over year becomes the climax of all festivities, on a noble scale celebrated on Moscow Day.

Moreover, according to many Russian and foreign mass media, participants and guests of the show, this festival is one of the most significant and memorable events in cultural life of Russia. And 2011 has been no exception.

Every day more than 7000 people came to the Kremlin walls to enjoy the show which included bands from 14 countries in Europe, Asia and America. This year the total number of viewers has exceeded 42000 people.

World-famous French singer Mireille Mathieu, who’s warmly loved in Russia, has visited festival for the third time. Mme Mathieu sang 2 songs in French – “Padam-padam” and “Pardonne-moi ce caprice d’enfant” – and Russian romance “Ne uezhay, moy golubchik” (“Don’t go, my dear”).

ETC-Russia has taken part in the Festival “Spasskaya Tower” for the second consecutive year. As he did last year, Roman Markholia, art director of the Festival, has entrusted the development of video content to ETC designers, who have again succeeded in the main task — taking into account the concept of the event and smoothly interline video projection on St.Basil Cathedral in the whole show. Video sequence has been successfully synchronized with musical compositions heard on the Red Square.

Despite complex architecture of the Cathedral, ETC experts have made the light show bright, colorful and spectacular. Due to explicit particularization of the video projection and to high resolution of 4000 pixels, bells of the Cathedral acquired incredibly luscious strains, and the façade changed different colors like royal mantles. Sounds of march-pasts on the Red Square intensified several times impressions from show.

FOR VIDEO PROJECTION ON ST.BASIL’S CATHEDRAL ETC FIXED 6 CHRISTIE S+20K PROJECTORS AND 1 CHRISTIE HD18 PROJECTOR.
